University Playdate

Located in Round Rock at the southeast corner of IH-35 and University Boulevard. Same shopping center as IKEA, REI and JCPenney.

Playdate At Dawson's Playground

Today we had a hot, but fun playdate at Dawson's playground. There's nothing greater sounding in the world than laughter from a child. There was lots of running around, giggling, and laughing going on outdoors today. Summer has offically arrived and the kids could not be happier. More pics can be found on our facebook page.

June 3rd Playdate

Our next scheduled playdate is June 3rd, at GCN's Dawson's Place Playground. Located at Georgetown Church of the Nazarene, it is fenced in, has picnic tables and restrooms and is in great condition after a recent church work day. Feel free to invite your friends! Don't forget to pack a lunch. Playdate starts at 10 am!! Hope to see you there!!!!

End Of Year Pool Party

Yesterday we had a splashing good time at our end of year MOPS pool party. Normally, I would have taken a ton of pics, but only got a few due to chasing kiddos around the pool. I have posted a few here and the rest have been uploaded to our facebook page. We have several playdates planned for the Summer and we hope that you can join us!!

Don't Forget About The Pool Party

Don't forget about our 'End of the Year Pool Party!' This Friday, 10am at the Summercrest Neighborhood Pool.

Summercrest is located approximately 2 miles west of GCN on Hwy 29. Turn into the neighborhood (Summercrest Dr.), take an immediate left onto Ashberry Trail. The pool will be on your left.

Don't forget your swimsuits, swim diapers (if needed), towels, sunscreen and a sack lunch for you and your kids.

We'll have a splashin' good time!

Firemen, Firetruck, and Fun

I think Wendy said it best, by saying fun was had by all. What a great MOPS year this has been and I think we went out with a bang. For our last meeting of the year, our guest speakers were some of the members of the Georgetown Fire Department. They spoke to the Kids and Moms about fire safety, we got to see the firemen suit up, and even got a grand tour of their fire truck. We were all in total awe and it was go great to see the kids so excited yesterday. Our deepest appreciation goes out to the Fireman. They put these lives on the line for us everyday, just like many of our other local heroes, and we are so grateful to have them in our community. Pictures have been uploaded onto our Facebook page. Stay tuned to our BLOG for more exciting adventures/pladyates over the summer. Hope that everyone had a wonderful year in MOPS this year and we are looking forward to seeing you all and many new faces in MOPS next year.

Prayer Request

I'm asking that our MOPS group pray for this family. I personally do not know them, but I do believe in the miracle of prayer. I have followed this family's blog for months now. I was reading about how much Jennifer's MOPS group had helped and was helping during this difficult time and I thought our group could help by keeping their sweet baby Stellan in our thoughts and prayers.

Hoppin Good Time

Today we had a Hoppin good time at Hoppin Hippo. I think I can safely say that all the kids had a blast and I'm betting there was some afternoon snoozing going on. I've posted pics on our Facebook group. Stop on over and check them out!!

April 3rd will be our Tea and Testimony Party. We have special day planned, so you won't want to miss it. Be on the lookout for tea cups while you are out doing your shopping. We would like for each of you to bring a tea cup to the meeting, as a gift to a fellow mom. More details to come...

MOPS Meeting for March 20th Cancelled

A playdate has been planned at Hoppin Hippo in lieu of our regularly scheduled MOPS meeting due to Spring Break. Hope that you can join us for a Hoppin good time. We will get a group discount rate of 5 dollars per child if we have a group of 15 or more. Please RSVP via the EVITE if you are planning on attending so we will know if we will be eligible for the group discount rate. Hope to see you all there!! It looks like another MOPS group had the same idea because Wendy mentioned there would also be another MOPS group there at 10:30 on the same day. P.S. Don't forget your socks and a sack lunch if you would like to stay for lunch time!!
